The New York League for Nursing (NLN) will be hosting their 2019 Spring Conference and Annual Meeting titled “Mentoring and Coaching in Nursing Education” on April 13, 2019, at the Columbia-Greene Community College in Hudson, NY. The purpose of this years meeting is to facilitate the promotion of evidence-based mentoring and coaching programs in nursing education and foster positive mentor, mentee, and institutional outcomes including faculty retention, the greater propensity for faculty career development, and healthier work environments in academia, as envisioned in the NLN Position Statement on Mentoring of Nurse Faculty in 2006.
