The Foundation of New York State Nurses Archives spans the creation of the Foundation in 1975 to the present time. The Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation that began its existence as the non-profit, independent entity of the New York State Nurses Association. In 2006, the legal name of the entity was changed to the Foundation of New York State Nurses, Inc. This large collection includes documents, photographs, reports, grants, publications, artifacts and memorabilia from the three Centers – History, Education, and Research – that carry out the mission and programs of the Foundation at the Center for Nursing. This collection is unprocessed at this time.
