LENS Program
Linking Education Nurses and Seniors (LENS)Â
The LENS program, established in the late 1990’s as a collaborative effort between the Foundation of NYS Nurses and the Northeast NY Professional Nurses Organization (formerly District #9) focuses on promoting health and wellness among the senior population. Â This program is made possible by the voluntary contributions of time and expertise by registered professional nurses and the generous donations of various donors.
The program offers free onsite educational programs to Senior Living Residences and Senior Centers on health promotion and health management topics, such as:
